Hopefully the rest of this FAQ will show you what is available and how everyone -- your band and your fans -- can benefit. I strive to keep open communication throughout the course of every project. My no-games approach will assure you that things will progress timely and properly. But the best way to find out what I can do for you -- is to see for yourself.
"My band is still growing and we do not have much money."
Technically this is not a question but it is a valid concern. If your band is lucky enough to be starting from scratch I could easily be your one-stop solution; you'll need all the basics. I've got the basics down. I'll set you up with a gig and record it. Then I'll mix it down for your demo. Then I'll make you a website. That means you are a band that's ready to kick some ass!
"So then do you have a package deal or something?"
Sure do! There's nothing I'd rather be doing than RockstarDave work, so take advantage of that. The most popular packages are Live Sound + Recording and Website + Demo, but its up to you, since any package will save you at least $50. Why not visit the packages page? "Why not settle down and pick between recording, booking, web design, and sound reinforcement?"
I am not ready to settle down. Keeping busy with music is my preferred business.
"How long have you been doing this stuff?"
I started web design as a serious endevour at Rochester Institute of Technology in 1999 and have been actively building my skills since then. Once I started school at SUNY Fredonia in 2002 as a music-business major I quickly grew into audio engineering, music production, and booking.
"What got you into music?"
There are countless concerts that I have attended; I have always felt that music is one of the best things to spend money on. Music is able to evoke feeling and pure primal passion in a way that no other medium can. Why wouldn't I want to surround myself with music?
"What's your favorite genre of music?"
Too many to list! I enjoy everything from rock to roots, jazz to jam, and plenty more.
"Why won't you return my emails / phone calls?"
I always return emails and phone calls -- you must have sent to the wrong address or dialed the wrong number.
