With the system that is used, you won't have to worry about your small-to-medium size event coming up short on sound. The setup I have allows for full sound coverage for capacities up to 400 people in a deceivingly small package.
For an average event (3-4 hours long) expect to pay no more than $150 for premium sound. This is not a strict rate, as all RockstarDave rates are negotiable. However, for long distance drives, long shows, or very large instrumentations you may expect the higher end of the price range. Conversely if your show is very short or very simple, you can bet that it will be less than $75.

Oh, and if you already have a sound system and simply need a sound tech, expect great sound quality and someone who is easy to work with!
